Beginning Stained Glass - Students will construct a 12" x 14" panel using the copper foil method. Choose from 25 specific patterns. Cost of tools and supplies averages $400. Completion of weekly homework is required.

Intermediate Stained Glass – Here is your chance to work on anything under the sun. This class is for students with stained glass experience wishing to work on more advanced projects at their own pace. This is a self-directed class to work independently with help and guidance as needed.

Fusing – In this class, students can make bowls, plates, jewelry, and more! This is the perfect chance for you to experiment with frits, stringers, and dichroic glass. Students will be limited to firing two items or two 9" plates of jewelry per class.

Intro to Stained Glass – In this weekend class you can make a small stained glass panel from start to finish. You will have 4 patterns to choose from for your project. All tools and materials will be provided for this class.

House of Clears – Make this beautiful house panel in our five week class using clear texture scraps. In the first class, we will discuss glass selection to achieve the look you want. Clear textures are the thing that make this panel pop, so be sure to bring your clears that you already have to class. A sample of this panel on display in the shop. Class fee includes one pattern.

Candle Sconces – Make this pretty sconce for your house or as a gift! We have many different patterns to choose from. An LED light or real candle can be used with this sconce. To obtain your pattern, you must purchase the book "Candle Sconces." Available at the shop, the regular price of this book is $28.95 – Your price: $20. This is a three week class to be held on the dates shown below.

Mini Tiffany Class – In this class, students will learn the tips and techniques to make a beautiful 7 inch Tiffany style mini lamp shade. This is a copper foil lamp and you can choose from 14 different designs and two mold shapes. BONUS!! – The lamp pattern and form are included in the class fee.

Basic Soldering and Decorative Soldering Skills - Hate to solder? This is the class for you! Learn the tricks of the trade to improve our soldering! You will also learn how to do decorative soldering to embellish your work. Great to use on boxes, panels, picture frames, etc.! Class price includes solder board.

Dish Angels – Have a favorite broken dish or plate? This is a great way to recycle! Using the copper foil method, these angels make wonderful quick gifts for the holidays, birthdays, get well, etc.

Plate Panels – Hit the flea market or antique stores for some inexpensive plates. Using the copper foil method, we will incorporate them into your panel adding bevels, nuggets, etc. to complete the look.

Birds on a Branch – Bring nature indoors! Create a beautiful scene with birds and flowers. The branches are made of pewter and patina and solder easily. A great way to add stained glass to a post or window frame. Must precut and foil glass pieces prior to class.

Sand Pyramids – Use bevels to create a beach scene in glass capturing your summer vacation. Add your own shells, trinkets, etc. to create a one of a kind treasure that would make a wonderful gift for you or someone else! They can be made in the shape of your choice: triangular, square, rectangular, etc.

Poinsettia Candle Holders – Students will use lead came to wrap glass to make 3D candleholders. Various colors can be used to create your personal favorite Poinsettia – red, white, pink, etc. Makes a wonderful gift or center piece.

Picture Frames - Students will learn how to make a copper foil picture frame. Frames can be embellished with nuggets, trinkets, and decorative wire. Makes a great gift any time of the year.

Business Card Holders - Make these fun and funky card holders for your desk or business counter. 3-D techniques for soldering will be taught in this class also.

Bevel Candle Cubes – We will use the copper foil method to make these popular candle cubes using bevels or stained glass. You can make one or a grouping of several for a fabulous centerpiece. If using bevels, no glass cutting is required. Makes a great gift!

Bevel Boxes With Embellishments – Using the copper foil method, learn to make boxes that can be used however you choose (to hold jewelry, mementoes, etc.). Creative embellishments will be taught using, nuggets, decorative wire, trinkets, etc. Bring your creative ideas along for this class!

Children receiving treatment at the clinic will chose a sun catcher to take home with them to help brighten their day. VSG will supply all materials and patterns to make the sun catchers.
